As part of its 70th-anniversary celebrations, Porsche unveiled the 911 Speedster Concept. This 911 harks back to the first Porsche 356 ‘No.1’ Roadster from 1948 and borrows elements from Porsche’s stable of cars throughout its history including the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet which is the inspiration for this car’s body. The paintwork on this 911 is reminiscent of Porsche’s early racing cars but the components that go with it make it run with the performance of Porsche’s more modern speedsters.
