Few paint schemes achieve icon status when it comes to motorsports and one of them is the Gulf Oil livery that decorated the 1968 and 1969 Le Mans-winning GT40. To honor the 50th anniversary of the car, Ford is releasing a limited edition Ford GT in the iconic blue and orange paint scheme. The limited edition car will be produced for two years until 2020 with the first year’s cars featuring the No.9 graphics on the hood and doors. The 2020 edition getting the No. 6 graphics in honor of the machine that went on to win Le Mans in 1969. Adding more flair to the car’s design is the Ebony Alcantara that wraps the seats as well as the instrument panel and pillars while 20-inch aluminum wheels complete the look.
