Tactical Robotics’ Cormorant Unmanned Aerial System

Tactical Robotics Cormorant

Ambulances need to be fast in order to save the life of their patients. What better way to avoid traffic than to fly over it? Military tech may have the model for what future ambulances will look like. Last May, Tactical Robotics were able to demonstrate to the Israel Defense Force the capabilities of their Cormorant unmanned aerial system in a simulated casualty evacuation mission. The Cormorant flew on a pre-planned flight and was able to deliver a load of cargo and carry a manikin that stood in for a casualty in the mission. Aside from the assistance of people on the ground for loading and offloading the casualty and the cargo, the Cormorant performed its mission autonomously. Learn more from Tactical Robotics.
