Tucked away in the Mauricie region of Quebec is this simple summer cottage that is a stone’s throw away from Lac Plaisant. White cedar boards cover both roof and walls while the glass panels open to dramatic views of the lake and the south facing glass facade lets in the light during fall and winter. The cottage has space to sleep up to 12 people spread out in two bedrooms on the ground floor and on the large, open sleeping area upstairs. The cottage was designed by YH2 of architects Loukas Yiacouvakis and Marie-Claude Hamelin. Learn more from YH2.
