Fossil has released a new generation of smartwatches that comes with the features you would come to expect from a modern smartwatch plus a little bit more. Fossil has upgraded their Q line of smart watches and just like its previous iterations that pairs with your Android or iOS smartphone so that you’ll get notified when that important email or SMS comes in, it also lets you make payments with the NFC function so that your morning trip to the coffee shop goes by a little bit quicker. The Explorist is also your workout buddy with its built-in GPS that can now function untethered so you can track the distance that you’ve run while the heart rate tracker gives you another data point for your workout and is another important update to their smartwatch line. It’s swimproof too so there’s no need to worry about your watch when it’s time to hit the shower or the pool. The watch comes in 6 colors and is available now for preorder from Fossil.
