The Nolla Cabin is a study on how to create a dwelling with the least amount of impact on the environment. Created by Helsinki-based designer Robin Falck, the tiny cabin was designed to be built, disassembled, and transported easily. Having adjustable frames means the Nolla Cabin can be erected without the need for groundwork that would disturb the environment. A mirrored surface on one side helps reflect heat and help keep it cool. The cabin also draws its power from renewable sources including solar panels and a generator which is not surprising considering the cabin is part of Finnish renewable energy company Neste for their Journey to Zero project. Visitors to Finland can get to experience living in the Nolla Cabin by booking it on Airbnb. No Airbnb account yet? Create an Airbnb account through this link and help support Kulturado.
